Protection of databases in draft Copyright Act

	Protection of databases in draft Copyright Act is according to that in Directive of Council and Parliament of Europpean Communities No 96/9/EC on protection of databases. This Directive gives common definition of database for all Member States, provides terms of copyright protection of so-called creative databases and also provides new sui generis right for the person who supplies investments necessary for production of some databases. The draft Copyright Act includes special regime for collection of works according to Article 2 paragraph 5 and introduces new right in chapter three of part one in Articles 88 to 94.
