| The explosion of electronic publishing, i.e., Internet electronic resources demands new solutions in
description, preservation and making access to this type of information. The national bibliographies should include the remote electronic
resources as the part of the national production and the national cultural heritage. Some countries have been experienced in realization
projects dealing with the electronic collections. This field of activities is completely new in the Czech Republic. In the National Library
of the Czech Republic, the project supported by the Ministry of Culture aimed at provision of methodology, technical, organizational and
legal conditions has been introduced. The results of this project should ensure persistent accessibility of significant home electronic
resources published on Internet. |
