Abstract:

This paper describes how the Warsaw University Of Technology Library manages the access to electronic resources, that is organizing and developing search tools that allow users to get an authorised online information quickly and efficiently. We present here such tools as:

  • A-Z list of e-journals

  • A-Z list of e-books

  • E – databases ( an interactive table)

  • Digital Library of Warsaw University of Technology

  • Analysis and statistics tools (Aleph, HAN, deLibra)

At the end of this paper we are going to present our trend and plans.

About author:

Anna Tonakiewicz: librarian in the WUT Main Library, Head Librarian of Reference Centre since 1995. Few years' experience of working with electronic resources (databases, journals, books) providing support to students and researchers, conducting training for the WUT community, participating in numerous scientific conferences.

Grazyna Komorowska: Librarian in the WUT Main Library at the Reference Centre since 1997. Few years' experience with electronic resources (databases, journals,books), conducting training for first year students, participating in numerous scientific conferences.
