Abstract:

Document content is comparing and analyzing of two greatest citated sources, Web of Science (Thomson Reuter) a SCOPUS (Elsevier). Both products are monitored from view of chronological and contentual amount searching possibilities, consecutive work with retrieved data and comprehensive user friendly searching systém. Benefits and misssing parts in both information sources are mentioned.

PhDr Ivana Laiblova Kadlecova, a former director of Library of Acad Sci Czech Rep.,currently vice director for reserch and development. Last few years working on analysis of publication activities for internal needs of management of the Academy and she is creating documentation for an internal evaluation of research results
