As new media are increasingly used in people's personal, educational and work lives, does that mean that we need to discard the idea of „Information Literacy“ in favour of new types of literacy? Sheila Webber will argue that, on the contrary, the concept of Information Literacy is still valid, and that what we need to do is explore how Information Literacy can help us to engage productively and happily with our virtual and physical lives.
