Abstract

The Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technological Information (SC STI ) has launched the pilot operation of the SciDap – Central database of the Slovak Electronic Information Resources for Research and Development in Slovakia within implementation of the NISPEZ national project (National Information System Promoting Research and Development (R & D ) in Slovakia – Access to Electronic Information Resources) – Activity 3.1. The SciDAP database is built as a bibliographical source for a complete mapping of the Slovak electronic information resources (EIR) for R & D in Slovakia. Journals from bibliographic and citation databases in Web of Knowledge (WoS and CCC) and SCOPUS platform are processed as first. Then other Slovak scientific and professional journals as well as proceedings and electronic books are included into the SciDAP database step by step. Much attention is given to mapping of open access journals. All documents are processed to the level of analytical description of the article. The SciDAP database is located on the following website: http://scidap.cvtisr.sk
