Abstract

Last year there were another purchases of Czech e-books in libraries. At Charles University in Prague there are subscribed Czech e-books on eReading.cz and Levna knihovna platforms. On Flexibooks platform lending Czech e-books is in works. In the lecture there will be presented the Czech ebook market and current status of Czech ebooks titles for libraries. In details there will be presented experiences with Czech ebooks lending on Levna knihovna platform which is in focus of Charles University Faculty of Law Library.

Jiří Pavlík, Charles University in Prague, Computer Centre

Jiří Pavlík was graduated at Czech Technical University in 2000 and received a degree in Computer Science. Since 1995 Jiří Pavlík is working at Charles University Computer Science Centre. There he works as a system engineer working with library systems, federated authentication, fulltext technology solutions and multimedia systems. Since January 2006 he is a member of CESNET Shibboleth working group.
