Abstract

In comparison with the established model of acquisition of czech printed books is the acquisition of czech e-books in its infancy und it faces a lot of problems. Libraries can buy new czech e-books directly from publishers or from the digital platforms (eReading, Flexibooks, ebrary DASH!, Levná-knihovna etc.) and within the library-sublicense make them accessible for their users under pre-arranged conditions. The situation with the implementation of czech e-books to libraries in cooperation with digital platforms have been detected by the research, accomplished in the 1st quarter of 2014 on the sample of about 40 academic and public libraries.
