Abstract
E-book acquisition have changed during last several years. The main engine of these transformation are technological changes and move some competences towards end-users and readers (evidence-based acquisition). Libraries now have a wide variety of options how to give end-users content which fits their needs. This presentation will give a view on e-book acquisition from different points of view – and visual experience for better understanding. New trends are not complicated. They just bring „old-fashioned“ library proceses into new electronic environment.

Ladislav Svršek is graduated at the department of Library and Information Science at the Comenius University in Bratislava. He helped to open offices of Albertina icome Bratislava in 1996 and he works there as manager until these days. E-resources and related technologies are also a hobby of his.
