Abstract

Bibliography of Czech journal articles and other non-independent document has a relatively long history, but what will be its future at a time when national system failed, accountable institutions are not responsible and hands on arena remains only the Don Quichotte last few? The paper is trying to diachronic and synchronic view on the issue in terms of processing, access and presentation of bibliographic and analytical information in the national environment with a view to addressing this issue abroad.

Author's professional CV

Josef Schwarz deals with the knowledge organization and information retrieval. In 1995–2001 he participated in the compilation and management of controlled vocabularies – thesauri in the Library of the Protestant Theological Faculty of Charles University and the Parliamentary Library. In 2001–2002, managerial and professional participated in the creation of terminological databases in the field of information and library science (TDKIV). Further, as an editor, editor and bibliographer externally collaborates with several publishers and institutions.
