Abstract

Education using mobile touch screen devices and electronic information resources (EIR) becomes available and desirable approach in the educational system in the Czech Republic. Assumption and conditions that the technology and EIR could be an effective part of teaching, is the establishment of a positive relationship between the teacher and new technology. It is also necessary that the teacher accepts the modern ICT as an interesting tool whose implementation in specific way of teaching is optional depending on the context of the educational situation. Project INTERES (Information Technology Realized by Cooperation), which falls within the authority of the Department of Information and Library Science in Masaryk University in Brno, tries to show the way to possibilities of using mobile devices and their e-learning content including EIR both in the teaching and in the personal life of teachers. For this purpose there were designed individual key project activities. Educational needs of teachers involved in the project relate primarily to the use of EIR and open educational resources (OER) on the platforms of all operating systems. In addition to the attendance of seminars focused on practical training of working with new technology and selected EIR, teachers also have the opportunity to work individually with a mentor and solve problems connected to the use of new technology and applications in particular didactical situation. Seminars are completed with public/open e-courses and webinars on topics of educational content and EIR in school practice. Educational activities are subjected to managed evaluation. The important part of the project INTERES is also the special course called Coordinator ICT. Its graduates become consultants for their colleagues in the implementation of technology and electronic information resources in the education process of a particular school.

She works in the Division of Information and Library Studies , Masaryk University in Brno, where he works in two project teams – the project manager INTERES aimed at training teachers in ICT skills, it is also a lecturer in the project CEINVE dedicated to the Information and Education at Masaryk University. The Cabinet also acts as a teacher teaches the subject Design educational process, leads the thesis mentor and student projects. In the area of education also publishes, currently co-authored publications Distance education for teachers. She is interested in the world of her two daughters, literature and classical and medieval Latin, the foundations of which passes to students of history at the Faculty of Education.
