The access to unusual number of information resources available to Czech
academic
community is fragmented to scores of access points provided by publishers or
aggregators. The poor guy's position in seeking his chosen title or even subject
searching unknown resources is worse than before. This might be eased by broadcast
seraching selected resources and further improved by dynamic context sensitive
searching. In cooperation with the Uniform Information Gateway, the STM Portal adds
some substantial components, in particular in the Science, Technology
and Medicine areas.
