The paper is focused on the EiFL Direct project providing access to thousands
of electronic journals to the consortium of libraries and other NGOs in the Czech Republic. It also points out enlargement of the
project and creation of consortium in Slovakia and Lithuania. |

After graduation from Charles University in 1981 I worked in the library of the Faculty of Arts (1981-1993).
Since 1993 I have been the head of periodicals department of National Library of the Czech Republic. I am the project
coordinator of national licences of eIFL Direct and KnowEurope. |
