Fulltext submitting for the conference proceedings

The full-text of your paper will be published on the INFORUM 2007 website.

Paper length: 3-15 pages + annexes
Paper & speech language: English (or Czech or Slovak)
Fulltext formats: DOC (Word 95/97/2000), RTF or PDF, to be sent by e-mail (andrea.kutnarova@aip.cz) or on a floppy disk/CD-ROM by mail.

PowerPoint Presentations

The preferred way is to send us a copy of your PowerPoint presentation latest by May 7 (preferably earlier) by e-mail to andrea.kutnarova@aip.cz (please use WinZip to compress the file, do not forget to save fonts in case you use some more special ones). This will allow us to check it and pre-install it to the presentation server. However, please do not forget to take also a backup copy on floppy or on a CD-ROM disk or on a USB flash disc with you or even transparencies … just in case.

Guidelines for presentations

The actual time of your session will be confirmed, but we recommend that you prepare a 20 minute presentation, which will allow for a further 5 minutes of Q & A at the end of your allocated time. During the break before your speech please do not forget to check your pre-installed presentation in the auditorium and get in touch with your session chairman. Conference session timing is always crucial. Therefore you are kindly asked to arrive well before your session begins and especially to strictly adhere to the timeframe of your speech and any instructions given by the session chair.

Room set up

The conference will provide presentation rooms with a data projector, overhead projector, computer (PC with CD-ROM drive, Windows, Office XP, incl. PowerPoint, Netscape, MS Internet Explorer).
Live Internet connection will be available during all sessions. The University of Economics has a good connectivity, however, we still recommend to have an offline backup with you (downloaded html pages or Lotus Screencam captured files on floppies or CD-R). On-site technicians will be available to troubleshoot any equipment problems you may have.

Using your own notebook is unfortunatelly not possible.

Posters

Posters will be displayed in the corridor between the New building and Rajska building during the days of the conference.

There will be a short poster presentation of each author (cca 2 minutes) and then will follow the Poster session right on the corridor.

There is the possibility for authors to be with their posters to discuss them with others also during coffee and lunch breaks.

Poster titles and author names and affiliations will be included in the printed programme and also in the conference proceedings on the website for the conference.

Posters are expected to be 125 cm x 90 cm (width x height) or conversely.

Materials for putting posters on the boards will be available in the poster area.

Conference WiFi

University of Economics provides WiFi (free wireless internet) to Inforum participants. Username and password on request by registration. Your laptop must be equipped with a WiFi card.

Registration for the Conference

Acceptance of your proposal does not automatically register you as a conference participant. Please be sure to complete and return your personal conference registration form to us as soon as possible. You can register to all conference sessions, workshops and social events free of charge as an VIP participant.

Last but not least you are also invited to the INFOCONCERT and INFOPARTY – the INFORUM social events on Wednesday May 23, 2007 in the Klementinum Palace of the Czech National Library.
