Abstract:

Poster is introducing a new web portal "Infogram" (available at: www.infogram.cz). The portal has been developed as a platform for sharing experiences in the area of information education and information literacy programmes (not exclusively) in the higher education. The portal is composed of three main modules: "For teachers", "For students" and "Plagiarism". The list of useful links related to the area of information literacy (blogs, conferences, grant opportunities, people, discussion groups etc.) is available, as well as FAQs and short surveys. There are more interactive tools available, e.g. discussion forum. "Infogram" is intended for everyone who is involved in the information literacy and information education area - for teachers, librarians etc., as well as for students who want to learn more about various types of information resources and how to work with them. The module "Plagiarism" is focusing on ethical and legal aspects of using information, especialy on citation ethics. "Infogram" is result of a research project supported by Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic. Universities involved in the project were: Czech Technical University (Prague), Czech University of Life Sciences (Prague) and University of West Bohemia (Pisen).
