Abstract

Three-year grants within the INFOZ programme will terminate in 2011 and it has not been clarified yet under what conditions the licences will be renewed. What is clear now is the fact that licences provided through buying groups will remain the most cost-effective way of electronic resources acquisition. Making available those resources to patrons and broad customer support would follow – including detailed evaluation of usage based on statistics at given frequency. All the activities are obviously time-consuming and require professional competence. As it is not easy for the grant applicant to cope with it besides regular responsibilites it proves to cooperate with a partner having experience with managing such projects.
