Abstract
Ebooks along with ejournals and other electronic documents are getting more and more popular at Charles University in Prague. E-book readers, tablets and smartphones are changing the way libraries serve their patrons. Library of Psychological & Socio-cultural Sciences Faculty Of Arts at Charles University is leading the way and it is finding solutions for missing pieces in puzzle at ebook library services. Innovative approaches, solutions and technology used in the library will be presented.
Author's professional CV
Jiří Pavlík was graduated at Czech Technical University in 2000 and recieved a degree in Computer Science. Since 1995 Jiří Pavlík is working at Charles University Computer Science Centre. There he works as a system integrator for library systems, fulltext technonology solutions, digitalization and multimedia systems. Since January 2006 he is a member of CESNET Shibboleth working group.
