Abstrakt

In these tough economic times, libraries are looking for new ways to maximize the value of their resources. This presentation will cover how ebrary’s new technologies can help you cost-effectively enhance education and research activities at your university:

  • DASH! (Data Sharing, Fast), a new feature of our Academic Complete subscription collection, enables customers to easily upload and share their theses and dissertations, special collections, reports, and other PDF documents. Libraries’ own materials integrate seamlessly with more than 48,400 multidisciplinary titles from over 425 publishers, making Academic Complete the best value in the industry!
  • Patron-driven-acquisition (PDA), ebrary’s pilot program that helps libraries automatically purchase titles used by their students, faculty, and staff. Choose from over 102,000 premium e-books from leading publishers including Wiley, Elsevier, McGraw-Hill, and many others. Buy only the titles that are being used!

Join us for a demonstration of how your institution can use these new developments, as well as other ebrary products and services, to better support academic study in multiple subject areas under any budget requirements.
