Project EURQUELL – co-operation in the field of information services in Pilsen region

The project EURQUELL was initiated in Pilsen region in 2001. It was targeted to support the co-operation of relevant actors providing services in the fields of business support and dissemination of information concerning the EU and accession of the Czech Republic. This project was part of the initiative supported by the European Commission and in its framework the contacts were started among all subjects dealing in the region as parts of official European and/or national networks. The permanent relationships of all project partners were build-up making possible their mutual knowledge ability of available services and information sources and supporting the complex offer of those services.
The concrete output of the project is the common information server EURQUELL informing entrepreneurs, local governments and all other interested subjects about who can be contacted in the Pilsen region for receiving information concerning European union, CR accession, programmes and financial measures, advisory services, training and promotional activities targeted to business support both in EU and CR.
The experience from the project realisation can also serve as a base for the discussion about availability and efficiency of different information sources in the above mentioned fields.
