Abstract

Introduction to digital libraries for librarians. General concepts, techniques, trends and types of digital libraries will be presented, as well as examples of selected successful digital libraries.

About the author

Miroslav Bartošek graduated in Computer Science; he is the head of the Library and Information Centre at the Masaryk University in Brno. His professional interest concentrates on Digital Libraries. He lectures on DLs and participates in several DL projects.
