									| Abstract: | In the Czech Republic there are many medical and health care resources on the
Internet. Most of them are portals which offer information both for patients and health care professionals. The project
„Tumour Diagnostics on the Internet“ was established for physicians and clinicians who care about patients with tumour
diseases. The project includes kidney, testicle, prostate, and breast tumours from the point of view of pathological
anatomy - the most important medical specialization for accurate diagnostic of tumour disease and successful treatment.
Tumour problems for each organ are handled on separate websites which include: tumour classification, advised monography
and articles, and commentary on news. All information are updated continually. Aggregation of the most important
information and their continuous actualization are the greatest advantages of the source of such an information together
with advantages of using WWW as a platform for primary resources publishing. The quality and validity of information are
guaranteed by team of authors who are the prestigious pathologists. |
