Abstract:

The Czech Digital Mathematics Library DML-CZ presents on the Internet the relevant mathematical literature published throughout history in the Czech lands (since the 19th century). It involves mainly mathematical journals of international standing, but selected monographs and proceedings are also included. The DML-CZ is created in co-operation of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Masaryk university in Brno and Charles university in Prague. The project is part of the World Digital Mathematics Library initiative. The paper will cover three aspects of the DML-CZ: (a) content and services of the digital library, (b) metadata editor - a tool implemented in the project for creation of structure and metadata of digitized objects (structure, administrative and descriptive metadata, lists of references, autority records, etc.), (c) automated incorporation of current born-digital journal issues.
