| Abstract: |
How could we integrate external and internal information sources and use them
effectively not only for the strategic planning process in the company? The solution of ČESKÝ TELECOM, a. is based on
efficient information-knowledge system Convera RW and the methodical tools; includes into “the management systems´
development” processes. The system supports the monitoring, collecting, transforming and providing the information. The
system, which was originally utilized exclusively for the strategic information, now integrates external and internal
sources, enables to share and manage information across the company and supports the implementation of the knowledge
management elements.

Graduated from the Charles University, Prague - Institute of Information
Science and Librarianship - in 1999. In 2001 entered the external doctoral study at the same school. She is interested
in these topics: providing of the information support in the business field, knowledge and information management.
