Abstract:

How does a library fulfil its obligation to build-up a collection, when it cancels a subscription and looses access to the data? What alternatives are there, and to which kind of content do they apply? Can a purchase be more cost effective than a subscription? Let’s compare the various models and create a basis for deciding!
