Abstract:

Introduction to the most interesting tools from Ex Libris product suite: MetaLib, the information portal for library collections, and SFX, the context-sensitive linking solution for heterogeneous electronic resources in the scholarly information environment. DigiTool, a solution for the construction of digital collections, and Verde, the electronic resource management (ERM) system. Primo, a unified solution for the discovery and delivery of all local and remote information assets.

About author:

Jiří Pavlík was graduated at Czech Technical University in 2000 and recieved a degree in Computer Science. Since 1995 Jiří Pavlík is working at Charles University Computer Science Centre. There he works as a system integrator for library systems, fulltext technonology solutions, digitalization and multimedia systems. Since January 2006 he is a member of CESNET Shibboleth working group. Since 2006 he is working as a SFX product manager in MULTIDATA Praha company.
