Abstrakt

A University is a place where numerous types of applications have to be made available for users: standard windows based applications, CDs/DVDs, URLs, eJournals, online databases, simple Windows documents etc. What, if all this could be managed through one simple, unified management software? By non-IT professionals? Providing functions which up to now needed several expensive software products from various vendors such as Citrix? The presentation shows how renonwed universities all over the globe have integrated "NetMan" into their network environment and have reduced their costs when making all types of applications available to their users.

O autorovi

Christian Günther studied Electronic Engineering and got his degree in 1987. Following 8 years of product development in the world´s second largest media company Bertelsmann he became freelancing Media Consultant. In 1998 he joined H+H Software GmbH and is now Head of International Sales for H+H Software products.
