Abstract:
This paper focuses on the are of the data boxes and its integration with organizations' internal systems. The concept of data boxes as well as its legislave framework is introduced. Futher on integration issues of data boxes with organizations' internal information systems are discussed and complemented with examples of SAFE system services for its storage and processing.
About author:
Jan Mottl (nar. 1959) po ukončení studií na ČVUT v Praze obor technická kybernetika pracoval ve Zbrojovce Brno jako technik ve výrobě záznamových zařízení. V roce 1989 nastoupil do Gramofonových závodů Loděnice jako směnový vedoucí masteringu. Zde se účastnil zavádění výroby CD a CD-ROM. V roce 1991 se stává jedním ze zakládajících společníků ICOME s.r.o., společnosti zaměřené na zavedení technologie CD-ROM na československý trh. ICOME s.r.o. se stala jedním z prvních propagátorů, distributorů a vydavatelů CD-ROM a souvisejících technologií u nás. Po transformaci ve společnost Albertina icome Praha s.r.o. v roce 1995 se stal jejím finančním ředitelem. Z ní byla v roce 1999 vyčleněna samostatná společnost AiP Safe, do které byly převedeny aktivity v oblasti DMS. V současnosti je jejím výkonným ředitelem a jednatelem.
