Abstrakt

From fish piracy to space technology, teacher shortages to global warming, corporate accountability to migration trends and much, much more – the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) unites the expertise of the world’s leading economies to address the economic, social, environmental and governance challenges of the globalising world.

OECD work is the result of input from its 30 member countries, 100 partner countries, and 40,000 experts worldwide per year. It is therefore in a unique position to measure and analyse international data on a huge range of issues.

Source OECD is the online library that brings all of this valuable, authoritative knowledge direct to your desktop, ready for you to use. Graphs can be taken and inserted elsewhere, tables exported for further analysis, text printed or pasted into new documents.

This presentation will guide both librarians and end-users through the general navigation and main functions of the service, followed by a short case study to give a better idea of how to get the most of SourceOECD.
